Many people were shocked when they learned that 20-year MLM veteran Dale
Calvert had left New Image International to start his own company, Nu Creations,
Inc.
By all accounts, his company is off to a great start, with over 2,000
distributors that joined in the first 10 days. This program seems to be attracting
the attention and curiosity of many long-term industry leaders. Will Nu
Creations be the company that creates the next big wave within this
industry? Dale Calvert, founder of Nu Creations, certainly thinks
so. Money Maker's Monthly had the opportunity to catch up with him
a couple of days ago right before the company's first ever national
conference. We had the opportunity to ask him some hard questions.
We have no doubt that he is totally convinced that Nu Creations has all the
success factors covered. After reading this interview, you may feel the
same way.
Most people within the Industry associate Dale Calvert with New Image
International. I am sure many of them, like many of us would like to know why
you left?
I dedicated 5 1/2 years of my life to NII. I love the people and cherish the
relationships that we developed. I was 100% dedicated to their success and did
everything I knew to secure their future. Along the way I made several mistakes;
the last six months I have realized that a major mistake had been lack of
communication. I assumed that all the leadership and my partner knew and
understood the principals, concepts, and laws, which built the company, and my
vision for the future. To try to make a bizarre chain of events understandable;
when I really started to evaluate my goals and the future of NII, I realized
they were not congruent with my partner and some of the field leadership.
Because of my dedication and love of the people I was driven to create a home
for the thousands who entrusted me with their future, and the future of their
families.
How different is it being a sole owner of MLM Company?
Really the day-to-day operation is no different at all. From an emotional and
psychological standpoint I feel like a tremendous weight has been lifted off of
me. I understand fully the mistakes that I made, and the paradigms that some of
the field leaders developed. I am going to make certain that I don't make the
same mistakes in the future, and do what I can to help prevent leadership from
developing unproductive paradigms. You have to understand we were all in a place
we had never been before. Not too many people get to experience a company
growing from your basement and partners living room with zero employees &
sixteen founding distributors to over 60,000 distributors, 65 employees over
30,000 square feet of facilities, and 120 Million dollars in wholesale product
sales. All any of us can do is learn from the past, and move on. Some things are
not meant to be. I personally feel stronger and more focused than ever. We have
all heard, that which doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. Well my heart
was broken and there were times when I thought I was going to die, but I am
back. I have always believed that that all adversity encompasses the seeds of
equivalent or greater benefits. You simply must keep the faith and move forward.
Tell us more about this "Forced Tri-Level" Marketing Plan we are
starting to hear people buzzing about, and how does it differ from other
compressed plans?
Quite simply it is the quickest fastest way for a new distributor to attain a
$50,000 annual income. With our "Forced Tri-Level" distributors build
micro-downlines of 39 people. These groups of 39 we call Success Centers. You
are not allowed to have more than three front line distributors within your
Success Center, this is were the "forced" comes in. By not allowing
people to go wide, people automatically build depth and help their downline
members. A completed Success Center will always have 3 Front Line Distributors,
9 Second Level Distributors, and 27 Third Level Distributors. Based upon a $200
Monthly Qualification, your income potential per Success Center would look like
this:

The Key to the program is that after you develop one Success Center of 39, you
then are allowed to RE-ENTER the program, under your DOWNLINE, and create
another group of 39. Two completed qualified Success Centers will pay you over
$5,000 monthly with only 78 qualified people! Ten Success Centers with 390
Qualified people will pay our distributors over ¼ million dollars a year! That
is awesome and that is why we are attracting a lot of industry professionals to
our program. At this level you also receive an awesome benefit package.
Isn't $200 Monthly Qualifying BV a little High?
I feel that one of the major problems of the industry for the past couple of
years is that instead of trying to inspire people to learn, grow, & develop
their God given talents and abilities, we have tried to appeal to their
mediocrity. Distributors have told people they can stay home, watch TV, order
your $50 per month worth of products and mail out postcards and audio tapes and
get rich. We all know that is not true. People do what they have to do, and very
little more. As a distributor I have been with companies that required I
maintain $3,000 in open monthly business volume. With another company I had to
maintain $5,000 in open monthly business volume. I never thought a thing about
it. We are not an internal consumption program. We want our people sharing a
"Sizzling Hot Weight Loss Product" and earning cash profits every
week. One case (8 bottles) of our premier product, Meta Booster is $200
wholesale with a $200 Business Volume. If a distributor retails two bottles a
week at the end of the month they are fully qualified for their Success Center
and they have put over $100 in retail profits in their pocket. We have some
distributors who average retail sales of a couple of bottles a day. This doesn't
even take into consideration repeat customers. We have also just introduced our
distributor auto-ship program and Optimum Health Package. This package consists
of a month's supply of five of our most popular products. The wholesale cost of
this package is $100 with a $100 BV. A husband and wife team who each consume
the 5 products in the Optimum Health Package each month are fully qualified for
their Success Center bonuses. The bottom line is simply this. The only place
$200 is an issue is in some distributors minds. The industry has created this
paradigm over the past few years. At my former company, for 5 ½ years we had a
$200 monthly qualification. It was never an issue, because our people retailed
and made cash weekly. The Success of that company proves this point. As a leader
the question you need to ask is this.
Would I rather have an organization of people who are qualifying at $50 per
month, or $200 per month?
You need an organization four times larger to make the same income with a $50.00
qualification verses a $200.00 qualifications. Leaders love the $200 BV
qualifications. Those programmed for mediocrity, who don't understand the
difference between cost and investment, don't like it. In all honesty this is a
great filter for us. It is one of the ways that we can determine if the prospect
is a future leader, with long-term vision or someone who is only focused on
themselves and their "cost".
What Benefit Package do you offer your Top Distributors?
We will offer an annual incentive vacation each year. Our first vacation will be
to Maui Hawaii. We also offer a monthly expense account for our top leaders.
This expense count can be as little as $500 per month and as much as $2.500 per
month. With 10 Success Centers, 390 qualified associates a distributor can earn
over ¼ million dollars a year receive a $30,000 a year expense account and an
exotic vacation some were in the world. I believe I have the heart and the mind
of a distributor & this package really turns me on!
What do you mean you have the Heart and Mind of a Distributor?
I don't see myself as the President, CEO, and Owner of Nu Creations
Incorporated. As a matter of fact, I prefer not to be called any of the above. I
just prefer to be called the "Founder" or the "Founding
Distributor" I have been in this industry all my adult life, since the age
of twenty. I have surrounded my self at the corporate office with a great staff,
and we will continue to add to our corporate staff. I personally think, and act
as a distributor, not a company owner. I feel I have an "US"
relationship with the field leaders. I want the relationship between all home
office staff and distributors to be an "US" relationship, not a
"US and THEM" relationship. I remind the home office staff each week,
that the distributors in the field write your paycheck, I don't.
Tell us more about your product line
We have eight, proven life-altering products. Are primary focus is the weight
loss and anti-aging market. We look for products that our distributors can take
to the market place and put immediate cash retail profits in their pocket.

What are your personal goals for Nu Creations?
My focus is very simple. I want Nu Creations to become the company that produces
more $50,000+ per year income earners than any network marketing company in
history. I know that we have all the components in place to make that vision a
reality. An awesome compensation plan, tremendous life altering products with a
sizzling hot weight loss product, and proven leadership development, personal
development and unified, duplicatable training systems to help our distributors
develop the skills and attitudes necessary to develop a successful business. By
reaching our goal of helping the masses achieve a $50,000 annual income,
leadership will become rich. I tell the people who are starting with us on the ground floor
two things. Number one, you can see the future by looking at the past. We were
able to start with nothing before and develop a company that did over 120
million dollars in wholesale product sales in five years, and that was without
the "Forced Tri-Level" compensation plan. The second paradigm you need
to have is don't think about you earning a $50,000 annual income, focus on
helping hundreds of people in your downline earn $50,000!
What is going to prevent other companies from copying and using your
"Forced Tri-Level" compensation plan?
That is a great question. Number one, existing companies simply couldn't do it
and maintain any type of ethical structure in their distributor organization.
There existing leadership would have to go back to work and build several micro-downlines
of 39, and that probably wouldn't go over to well. As far as new companies
trying to copy our program, "Forced Tri-Level" is a trademarked name,
the compensation plan itself is in the process of being patented. I believe
however that your compensation plan is only one third of the Success Triangle,
or one of three Pillars of Success. Compensation plans alone don't make you
rich. You must have the skills and attitudes necessary to produce results within
the compensation plan. If you do have the skills and attitudes, I know of no
other compensation plan within the market place that can make a major impact on
the financial life of a distributor as quickly
What if you don't have the skills and attitudes necessary for Success?
Without question, I feel that this is our strongest area of expertise. This is
the one reason that all people who want to make it should join our organization.
I have said to distributors who have entered our organization, many many times
over the years "If you give us one year of your life, we will change your
life forever." I know this is true. I know what our personal development
and leadership development programs will do for those who are ready to learn. I
have seen thousands of lives changed in one year with our systems and programs.
What profession can you develop a six figure annual income, without an
education? Network Marketing is no different. Too many people treat this
"Business" like buying lottery tickets. Products, and compensation
plans don't make you successful…..You make you successful. If I want to become
successful in any profession the first thing I would look for is what I call a
Pentacle Leader. That is someone within the industry who has not just become
successful themselves, but who has also taught others to become successful, and
those people in turn have taught others to become full time professionals. That
is true duplication, and without that any success created will be short lived.
That is the second side of the Success Triangle or the second Pillar of Success.
You must have proven unified training systems and personal development programs.
What is the third side of the MLM Success Triangle?
A sizzling HOT weight loss product that can be retailed by the masses. Network
Marketers have seemed to forgot over the years the difference between cost and
investment. I have people ask me strange questions like how many people do I
need in my group to break even? My answer is zero. They act amazed.
My question is what happened to buying products at wholesale, marketing them at
retail and putting immediate cash profits in your pocket?
When you have a product that people WANT you can do that. History has proven
that people want to lose weight, look younger, and feel better, that is never
going to change. We have some distributors earning a few hundred dollars extra a
week who haven't sponsored their first distributor yet, ladies and gentleman
that is powerful. I could write a book about the three pillars of success but if
people would like to learn more about this philosophy they can request my newest
cassette "The Secret to Network Marketing Success in the New Millenium."

Where is your home office located?
Right now we have about 9,000 Square feet of facilities in Lexington, Kentucky.
As we grow we have several expansion options available to us.
Who are your corporate attorneys?
Our corporate MLM attorneys are Grimes and Reese from Idaho Falls, Idaho who
have an impeccable reputation within the industry.
What about your computer & software systems?
We have our own in house programmer. Because of the uniqueness of our marketing
plan we also made the decision not to lease our software package. We own our
software package as well as the source codes.
Can you manufacture keep up with the expected demand for your products?
Yes, that is not a concern. They have been in business forty years working
primarily with doctors and chiropractors producing private label products. We
are using the same manufacture that my former company used to manufacture some
of their products. We never had a late shipment from them in the 5-½ years I
was there.
How do you plan on marketing your company to the Network Marketing Community?
Everyone says that starting a network marketing company at this point in history
is a death wish. I agree and disagree. I believe the distributors within the
industry are ready for Nu Creations and the "Forced Tri-Level Marketing
Plan" For the past few months, we have seen many distributor "Run to
the Internet to Get Rich". When they realize that on line malls, aren't the
answer hundreds of thousands will return to more traditional type programs.
However, they have tried the Binary programs, the unilevels, and the stair step
breakaway programs. I believe distributors within in the industry are ready for
the "Forced Tri-Level" marketing plan. They want strong unified,
duplicatable training programs taught by those who have actually done it.
Believe it our not, so are even ready to start putting some immediate cash
profits in their pocket and the pockets of their downline, by taking a
"Sizzling Hot" weight loss product to the market place.
How have distributors responded to your program so far?
Well at the time of this interview we are only 65 days old. We really haven't
even started our advertising campaign yet. The word has already gotten out. Our
first National Conference is this weekend and tickets have sold out. We have the
#1 and #5 money earner from one company coming to check us out. The #7 money
earner from another company. And the #9 and #14 money earner from another
company, who have already joined us and sponsored a hundred or so people in the
last couple of days. Plus many other distributors from virtually every company.
To say I am encouraged would be an understatement. I have talked to enough
people to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the industry is ready for Nu
Creations. When we actually start our marketing campaign I think our number one
challenge will be keeping up with the growth.
What will your Marketing Campaign consist of?
A new audiotape entitled "The Secret to Network Marketing Success in the
NEW MILLINEUM!" We also have written a 60+ page book titled MLM Insight.
This will be available in E-book form (click
here to get it). The Secret to Network Marketing Success that I did in 1993
literally exploded NII, with thousands of distributors joining our company after
hearing that cassette. I believe this new campaign has the potential to be the
most powerful campaign hit the industry since the Dead Doctors cassette. A lot
of other industry leaders feel the same way. I feel that is why so many are
taking a serious look at us now, before the wave hits. Over the past 5 ½ years
hundreds of thousands of seeds have been planted with the first Secret Cassette,
The Scam Cassette, The Blue Cassette, and the Video series "Confessions of
a Network Marketing Millionaire" and other programs which I have produced.
I know with everything in me, the field leadership of Nu Creations will be the
ones who will harvest those seeds, and receive the rewards. I am excited for our
associates.
How do you plan on marketing Nu Creations outside the Industry
With the same systems and programs we have been teaching for years and years. If
it ain't broke, don't fix it. Everything centers around what we call retailing
to recruit. We also teach a tried and true system for recruiting with videotape.
We feel that we have just produced the most powerful recruiting video in our
20-year history. This video was really designed for those outside, the MLM
Industry. Our distributors are experiencing great results. I talked with one of
our distributors last night in Pittsburgh, PA who shared with me that 86% of the
people who have seen the video have either joined his downline, or bought
products. That is exciting!
Are you conducting any special type of promotions or cross over programs during
your first 90 days?
The number one mistake of my network marketing career as far as I am concerned
was a cross over program we ran which allowed people with Success in another
company to cross over at a higher level within that particular company. Never
again, would I do that! Really with the Nu Creations marketing plan, there is no
need for cross overs. All distributors have access to full 55% pay out from day
one! We do have a couple of very innovative programs to help our distributors in
the field.

Dale, one final question.
What is the number one benefit you offer your distributors?
That is a hard question to answer. I believe in our product line one hundred
percent. I believe in our field leadership team. I know without question that
our "Forced Tri-Level" marketing plan will burn through the industry.
All of those things are very important. I guess when it really comes down to it;
the thing that we offer is what I have always tried to offer my organization for
the past twenty years. We provide proven, unified duplicatable training systems
to build your organization. We provide proven personal growth and personal
development programs, "the Wisdom of the Ages" that has touched
thousands of families. These programs will make a major impact on your life,
your attitude, your marriage, and your family even if you never made a dime. But
probably more than anything is corporate leadership with the heart, & mind
of the distributor. Distributor success is much more important to me, than
corporate profits. I have never made a decision in my twenty-year history that I
didn't feel benefited ALL the distributors. I have never done that in the past,
and I am not going to start now. When people join Nu Creations that can be
assured that they are joining a company that has their best interest at heart.
Six years ago I promised a group of people who I care about very deeply a
30-year game plan. I have 24 years left. I hope many people who read this
interview will evaluate our company, and take this exciting journey with us.
