If the company you are affiliated with offers products that everyone wants, needs, or you think should have, this is a great prospecting tool. There are two categories of products. One is a product or service that everyone already uses, like long distance service or a dish that replaces a cable TV service. The other type of product could be the best product (or products) in the world, but you have to educate your customer first. You have to create a need before they see your products value and buy. Nutritional supplements is a good example for this category.

If your product is something everyone uses in their daily lives anyway and you can offer it to them at a better price, with more features and great customer service, then everyone is a potential customer. First introduce your prospect to the product. Because of your personal connection, they will probably use your service over their current service. Most people will gladly give their business to a friend, relative, or associate as long as they are getting a quality product or service as a replacement. After they change to your product or service, let them know that they could share the same great savings and quality with their contacts. Just for doing that they have started to build an organization and earn a second income. If you get a "no", ask them for some referrals. Tell them there are two ways to work these referrals. One, you call their contacts and say they referred you. Two, use the "Power Partner" approach. They can sign up as a distributor and you will call their contacts and work them for them. The "Power Partner" recruiting program is a great avenue for fast growth and for those that do not have many contacts of their own. You only do this until you get them to a certain level in the business. They then are earning enough money to take notice and become personally involved. Many doctors, attorneys, dentists and other professionals have become involved in network marketing with this approach. Many have left their practices for the time freedom and financial opportunity of network marketing. Had they not become involved with the Power Partner program, they would have never even considered network marketing.
The other type of products take a little more work. If you are with a good company that has professional brochures, audio tapes and video tapes, a lot of the work has already been done for you. With nutritional supplements it is really easy. Some (a lot!) people have forgotten what it is like to feel good, are under stress and the devastating health consequences stress causes, are overweight, depressed, or have some type of ailment. Know your customer. Do your research on your product line. Do not prescribe, but rather, suggest that your products might help them feel better and let your company's research on the product do the talking. When you have someone sold on the product they are now ready to be approached with a business opportunity. This approach works with any product that needs a little education.

There are some phenomenal products in network marketing. Far better than in stores. Your contacts just need information, information that lets them know why they need your product. Creating a need is important. Again, if they say "no", try the Power Partner approach. Good luck!

Article 2: How to add credibility and gain power

The most common objection, and your prospect may not even tell you this, is the lack of respect for the network marketing industry as a whole. Anything that you can provide your prospect with that will build credibility will help you tremendously!!

Non-partisan newspaper and magazine articles that are about the industry or even better yet, about your company, help your prospect get over any pre-conceived ideas they may have had about network marketing.

Success Magazine is a great tool. They have testimonial-type articles in every issue and are full of industry statistics. One of the best issues to use is the December, 1995 issue. The cover states "We Make Millionaires", "How Network Marketing’s Entrepreneurial Elite are Building Fortunes at Breakneck Speed." You may call Success Magazine directly and order a mini-section of that issue that includes the cover. Ask the company you are affiliated with whether or not they have had any major publication write a non-partisan, positive article about them and order it.

Always include at least one page of industry information in every information package that you send or give out. You might as well overcome that objection before it ever comes up!

The network marketing industry has been around for over thirty-five years now. It is no longer on trial. Help your prospect understand the power of the industry through articles and statistics. Eventually, you will have your own story to tell!

Review of Pure Profit Software

I've had the chance to try the Pure Profit Software recently and it has been so useful to me that I had to share my thoughts with you.

First of all, this package contains 9 great pieces of software:

1.Affiliate Defender
2.Instant Site Maker
3.Instant eMail Scramble
4.Instant Affiliate Link Masker
5,Instant Meta Maker
6.Instant Bookmark
7.PayPal Money-Making Safelist Script
8.JavaScript Magic
9.Pop-Up Generator

I used them all except the PayPal Money-Making Safelist Script for I didn't have CGI support on my server. PayPal Money-Making Safelist Script let you create your own safelist site and service, but is for more experienced users. As soon as I get CGI support, I plan implementing this script as it seems a good one.

Now, let me talk a little about other parts of the package that I really used for myself...

Affiliate Defender & Instant Affiliate Link Masker accomplish quite the same by cloaking your affiliate links, and stopping thieves from stealing your commissions or electronic products! Very easy to use, it's a requisite for any serious Internet Marketer. I use them to hide my affiliate ID so it can't be changed, and to hide addresses of downloadable products that I sell, so they can't be stolen by most people on the Internet. The way it works is that the software make the URL unreadable, then I paste the code in a blank HTML page. I link to this page, and people get redirected to the right place without leaving my website domain.

Instant eMail Scramble prevents your email address from being captured, thus greatly reducing SPAM! It's a very good precaution to take. I know because I didn't take it before discovering this piece of software, and yes, emails that I published on my sites got harvested and I'm receiving lots of spam and junk mail. Now I'll use this tool to avoid such a situation.

Instant Bookmark enables visitors to bookmark your site with the click of a button! It's a great tool to have to entice them to come back. It's another tool in your arsenal to make them remembering you, and one of the possible ways to achieve that is to get your website in their Favorites. Visitors can add your site themselves from their browser's menu, but putting a button on your site is a call to action, encouraging or remembering them about doing so.

JavaScript Magic is also an essential piece of software for enhancing your website with a variety of scripts that you can simply cut and paste as is. It's a very good reference and I discovered there some scripts that I already used and others that I plan to add to my webpages in the near future.

Pop-Up Generator is one essential tool as well if you want to run promotions on your website. Actually, the program let you choose when (on load, on unload), where (in front, in back), and how often you want the pop-up (or pup-under) to appear. I used it immediately and it will help me a lot in my marketing endeavors. I recommend it highly.

The other two programs are more designed for the novice, although they might be used by more experienced marketers as well. They are Instant Site Maker and Instant Meta Maker. Personally, I'm already used to create my meta tags directly in my HTML source and I generally prefer to create my sales copy from the ground up, but those two programs can facilitate the job if you're not at ease with playing with HTML headers or with creating a sales copy entirely from an HTML editor.

With Instant Site Maker, you'll be guided through the steps for converting your sales copy and testimonies into a webpage for selling your product or service, and your page will be ready to upload on your server as is. The software is made for people using ClickBank, but you can replace your order link if you use another merchant account.

With Instant Meta Maker, you'll create meta tags that you'll want to copy to the head section of your HTML pages. Meta tags are used by search engines, among other criteria and considerations, to index and position your site. By using good and targeted keywords in different meta tags, you'll have better chances at increasing traffic coming form search engines.

All these programs are very easy to use (except maybe PayPal Money-Making Safelist Script if CGI is a word that seems coming from outer space for you). On a simple interface, you enter your data, choose your options, generate the code, cut it then paste it into your HTML page's source. That's all.

If you're marketing on the Internet, I recommend Pure Profit Software. You might not use 1-3 programs if you're already familiar with HTML and prefer to code the hard way, directly in the source, but considering the price for the package, it's a real deal. Most of the programs are sold for about the entire package's price elsewhere on the Internet, and here you get also reseller rights on the entire package.
