His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself.

Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death. The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved. "I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son's life." "No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied, waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel. "Is that your son?" the nobleman asked. "Yes," the farmer replied proudly. "I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of." And that he did.

Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, he graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin. Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time? Penicillin.

The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill. His son's name? Sir Winston Churchill. Someone once said: What goes around comes around.

ARTICLE: Are You Considering Using An Autoresponder?

Are you considering using an autoresponder to maintain a regular personalized contact with your prospects (80% of sales are made between the 5th and 12th contact according to the DSA - Direct Sales Association) or your customer base, to offer Internet marketing training to your associates wishing to develop their business on the Internet, to manage email lists, eZines and newsletters, event alerts or regular promotion campaigns - or to offer information-on-demand to your prospects, regarding network marketing in general (education) or your home-based business specifically (explanation)?

I personally thought about using some piece of software, but after some search and thought on disadvantages of setting my PC as a server and of having only a slow Internet connection which is on and off, and after considering problems that could come from my computer crashing one more time (that's Windows!) or from stupid people sending viruses, worms or mail-bombs, I decided to leave the software/hardware issues to an outside company: WCL.

For unlimited autoresponders and lots of additional marketing tools and training, the service costs $37 a month.  Based on services WCL offers and their user-friendliness, I think their price is very good. And you can even get everything for FREE by referring a few customers.

What will be the most useful to me will be the management of my autoresponders for sending automatic messages at specific times, what will keep me away from forgetting to keep in touch with some prospects! Also, the possibility to build my email lists automatically rather than manually, and to make another server sending emails rather than my own PC, will save at least 9/10 of the time I used to take preparing an issue of my eZine and sending it to my subscriber base which I previously added new subscribers to (140 new subscribers a week). The company will also take care of bouncing and undeliverable emails, what I never had time to do before.
