This one time I was fishing in the Catskill Mountains region of upstate New York, right inside the Ken Wilson State Campground.
Right below a small dam they had out back, was a very nice, shallow fishing hole and THERE WERE FISH EVERYWHERE!
Well, the little ones and I were casting worms at them and the worm-baits were landing right in front of the fish, BUT NO BITES. I began to despair. After all, I could literally see hundreds and hundreds of fish all just right there in front of me in a shallow fishing hole! What to do, what to do...
So I left off the wife and kids and made my way to a pay-phone and called my brother John, pouring out my despair over the fish. Finally, he couldn't stand it and decided he'd better come out and try his hand.
Well, John shows up with a bucket of minnows and just about as minnows as there was fish in that fishing hole! (He had a look of determination on his face I'll never forget.) So, he hooks a minnow and casts it out... one minute... another cast... two minutes... another cast... wham! In comes a bass! Then a bluegill! Then a catfish!
Pretty soon EVERYONE is landing fish and the fun is just right there! Even my daughter, Harmony, who was only 3 at the time, landed a huge catfish (mommy reeled it in for her).
My point being, sometimes even when you can see the fish, it might take a small change in the bait to trigger the feeding frenzy. It also might take a little help from someone who has a little more experience.
Sometimes you cast your offer out into the internet and no one bites. Yet, just a small change in the presentation can sometimes make all the difference in the world. So, it may not be for lack of buyers. And it may not be that you don't have a genuine offer. It can be as simple as a change in presentation and wham! The sales start coming!
Think how this might apply to your internet selling efforts and see if maybe it might make some difference for you.
