Dear Reader:
Are you taking baby steps? Long-term success is accomplished in small steps, not
large ones. Many people will send you advertisements with promises that you will
make $10,000 or more in 30, 60, and 90 days. The sad fact is that exaggerated
advertisements like these are very effective at appealing to the greed factor.
As a result, far too many people jump into bogus business opportunities without
ever checking them out. They just blindly jump in without ever knowing what they
are doing. Many people have never owned a business, never been a manager, or
been involved in sales of any kind. They run out, buy a distributor kit for $50,
and bingo, they are now owners of a part-time business that is supposed to make
them RICH!
The Internet is quickly becoming filled with so much hype and greed, it is hard
to know who to trust. We encourage you to take baby steps when starting your own
part-time business. The first thing you should do is start out by getting
trained. If you never owned a business, how will you know what to do? What is
your business plan? Do you have a marketing plan? How will you be successful?
What is your competition doing, and how will you compete and win? What products
or services have a good chance of making it in today's marketplace?
You see education is the most important ingredient. In fact it is so valuable
that people cannot take it away from you once you learn it, even if you end up
destitute and on the street for a while. If you have the knowledge to start a
successful business, you can do it over and over and over again.
Where do you get this knowledge, and how long will it take? Good question. You
could go to night school at your local college and take some business courses.
Many people do. However, here is a question you should ask of any professor or
instructor? "How many businesses have you started?" If they say zero,
zip, nada, ask yourself if this is who you want as your mentor.
What you need to do is look for people who have started a successful business.
People who can provide you with the training you need on an on-going basis.
Training that is updated and works today. Not some outdated book with old,
extinct information. Things in the information age change so rapidly that once
they end up in a traditional book they are probably outdated. You need current,
relevant knowledge at your fingertips for doing business TODAY.

We have been teaching folks like yourself the ease of duplication. You
can show someone the "HOW" and they still will not do it.
I get frustrated sometimes trying to teach simple concepts to those
who will NOT use them. If you were to set Gold in front of most of
these people they would not pick it up, it would be too much work to
find a wheel barrel and a shovel. And THEN they would have to march it
over to the assay office, "Why bother?!" Too much work.
Or, maybe just maybe it is a lack of focus. People have to know WHY
they need to do these things. These processes that can make them rich
are only dreams until they focus on Why they want more in their lives.
I believe we need to review our goals, our Why, regularly. Daily,
Weekly, Monthly, Yearly and so on. Is your goal to be Financially
Free? Then Why do you want to be Financially free? Is it because you
want to show off or Prove to others that you can do it. Or is it
because you want to lead by example for your children's sake.
The Why is the most important tool in a Trainers arsenal. If the
people you coach will not reveal their Why to you, then they are not
likely revealing it to themselves. Help them through this process,
sometimes you will need to play hardball with them. However, I will
tell you this, until a WHY is known, the HOW won't make a darn bit of
difference.

Article 2: What's
Love Got to do with it!?
The last of the Seven Virtues is the one that most people have the
most difficult time with.
Love has everything to do with your Wealth and your Success. Here is
the key. First you must Love yourself. Love yourself or you can't love
anyone or anything else.

A friend of mine taught me a long time ago, that you have to be able
to stand in front of the mirror, look at yourself and say, "I
Love You". Learn to look past all the imperfections. Learn to
look past your old belief's and just say, "I Love You!"
I have a friend. She is a wonderful person. A pillar of the community.
Always there to help others, always giving of herself. Yet she can't
understand her sadness. Her and her husband argue often and don't get
along well. There is so much negative between the two, that tension
fills the air when they are together. They can't even love each other,
even though they have invested many years in to their marriage. I
asked her if she Loved herself and her response floored me, "What
is there to love?" " I am Fat, I am Ugly. What is there to
Love?" Her words tore my heart out.
I see nothing but beauty in this person. So much compassion towards
others and yet no compassion towards herself. She is beginning to
understand that only she can change her world. Change it by developing
a new belief. A belief in herself.

You see so many people that feel their self-worth is of little value.
Poor eating habits, smoking, drinking, mutilating their bodies with
piercing and tattoos. True Love for yourself, True Health is when we
STOP treating our bodies Lovelessly. This vessel is what carries our
soul through life. Why would you want the ship to sink before it
reached its destination.

This world cannot survive without you. You have a purpose to fulfill.
First you must fulfill loving yourself and then others. Then, the
world will find you and lift you up and complete you.

If you have ever thought about being a mystery shopper (or
secret shopper, as they are often called), now is the time
to give shopping a serious look. The industry is hot and
continues to grow, providing shoppers with more and more
shopping opportunities. There are many individuals who are
currently making money in their spare time and even some who
are making a full time income. Secret shopping is a fun and
exciting way to make money. Besides the sheer thrill,
shopping also offers people great flexibility - you can work
from home on your own schedule. With this in mind, it isn't
surprising that mystery shopping is very popular with
stay-at-home parents.
What Is A Mystery Shopper?
Mystery shoppers are freelance professionals who are
contracted to pose as real shoppers in order to evaluate
several aspects of commercial retail establishments. Among
other aspects, secret shoppers can evaluate customer
service, product availability, product pricing, product
quality, store cleanliness, website operations and telephone
customer service. After shoppers evaluate a business, they
are then required to report their findings to the companies
that contracted them.
Because the general shopping population is comprised of all
kinds of different people, virtually anyone can be a secret
shopper. Shopping can be especially appealing for
individuals who desire to shape customer service and product
quality, as their findings are taken seriously. Of course,
the idea of getting paid to shop while getting free meals
and merchandise is also very appealing.
However, mystery shopping is a business and needs to be
taken seriously. You do need to posses a few
characteristics like being dependable, professional and
observant, and you need to be able to act as a real shopper.
Of course, you need to have reliable transportation to
conduct your shops and writing well and being able to
separate your findings from your opinion are also important.
Why Is Secret Shopping Such A Big Industry?
The business world is very competitive and companies are
constantly searching for ways to improve their customer
service and the quality of their products. Companies that
care want to know what their customers think; they want to
be informed of things that need improving. Armed with the
right information, businesses can make necessary
improvements. Shopper findings are used in future employee
training materials, to improve business operations, to
improve product quality and to compare one location to
another.
Mystery shopper reports are also used to point out positive
things. Shopper findings are used to help identify store
locations and employees due rewards for outstanding customer
service or cleanliness. Secret shoppers are sometimes even
allowed to reward employees on the spot for meeting certain
criteria. It can be fulfilling for a shopper to hand an
employee a certificate for a paid day off for doing a great
job!
